Question by Tom: Have you bought a second home for vacation, or a timeshare and then regretted the decision ?
I'm wondering how many people think a vacation home is a great idea, until they fell compelled to spend time there when they would perfer more variety on vacation locations.

We were going to and were advised against by our Bank manager instead we bought a caravan and what a joy that was. travelled thousands of miles and stayed in hundreds of different places. Absolutely wonderful I could really recommend it. You move on when you've had enough and it is surprising how quickly you have 'seen everything'.
